Get ready to swing for the digital fences! The Virtual League Baseball (VLB) at Comebacker Academy – Canton is a five-week HitTrax league where players bring real bats, real swings, and real competition into the virtual ballpark.

This isn’t just batting practice—it’s a full-on league, complete with standings, playoffs, and championship rings.

🗓️ League Format

• Duration: 5 weeks

• Weeks 1–4: League play (teams accumulate wins, runs, and seeding points)

• Week 5: Single-elimination playoff bracket to crown the first VLB Champions

• Teams: 3–4 players per team

• Age Division: 12U

• Entry Fee: $60 per player

• Capacity: Limited to 12 teams — first come, first served

⚙️ Gameplay Rules

• Game Length: 18 minutes or 6 innings (whichever comes first)

• Pitching: Machine-fed by Comebacker Academy staff or ball feeder.

• Starting Count: 1 ball, 1 strike

• Scoring: Standard HitTrax scoring system

• Replay Policy: If a pitch or swing is not registered by HitTrax, the play will be replayed

• Mercy Rule:

  • 15 runs after 3 innings

  • 12 runs after 4 innings

  • 10 runs after 5 innings

• All games are operated and scored by Comebacker Academy staff

• Pitching machines will be adjusted by age and ability level

• HitTrax automatically scales fields and dimensions for the 12U division

• Players must have a Comebacker Academy waiver signed prior to play

• All CA rulings are final

• Sportsmanship is expected—no arguing calls

Hour pod layout (per group of 4 teams):

• Wave 1 (00:00–25:00): C2 = 1 vs 2, C3 = 3 vs 4

• Wave 2 (30:00–55:00): C2 = 1 vs 4, C3 = 2 vs 3

Week 5 – Tuesday November 25th, 2025 — Rivalry/Seeding Night

Run rematches that balance total strength or set 1v4 & 2v3 in each side of the table for mini‑semifinals, then a short Championship at 7:00–7:55 PM (winners from 5pm & 6pm).

• 6:00–6:55 PM — Next 4 from standings → Pod B

• 7:00–7:55 PM — Championship (Pod A winners) on Cage 2, 3rd‑place (Pod A runners‑up) on Cage 3
