With music\, lights\, and spooky vibes\, it’s more than just a tournament — it’s a Halloween baseball party! 🕷️💀🎃 \n📜 Rules & Format\n\n\n\n\nTeams: 3–4 players \n\n\nEntry Fee: $75 per team \n\n\nGame Length: 18 minutes or 6-inning max \n\n\nFormat: Pool play into bracket single-elimination. \n\n\nPitching: All games will be machine-fed by Comebacker Academy staff or Auto Feeder \n\n\nGameplay: \n\n\nStandard HitTrax scoring system used \n\n\nEvents not recorded by HitTrax (e.g.\, pitch or hit not detected) will be replayed \n\n\nAge groups: 10U division – 12Udivison – 13U division (HitTrax adjusts fences\, fielders\, and dimensions for younger teams\, e.g.\, 10U) \n\n\nPitching machine speeds will be set by age group and adjusted based on participation. \n\n\n\n\nGame Format: \n\n\n2 pool games per team \n\n\nStandings from pool play set the seeds for a single-elimination bracket \n\n\nMercy Rules: \n\n\n15 runs after 3 innings \n\n\n12 runs after 4 innings \n\n\n10 runs after 5 innings \n\n\nStarting Count: \n\n\nAll at-bats begin with a 1 ball\, 1 strike count \n\n\nStaff & Gameplay Notes: \n\n\nAll games are machine-fed by Comebacker Academy staff or Auto Feeder \n\n\nIf a swing or play is not registered by HitTrax\, it will be replayed \n\n\nAll players must have a signed Comebacker Academy waiver form on file \n\n\nAll CA rulings are final \n\n\nRemember: this is a fun event — play hard\, compete with energy\, but don’t fight the calls or a ghost might haunt you for 30 days 👻😉 \n\n\nPrizes: \n🏆 Championship rings awarded to winners in each age\n\n\n\n \n  \n\nFinal Rulings: All CA staff rulings are final\n\nCapacity: Limited to 6 teams each age group— first come\, first served \n\n\nNote: A full finalized rule sheet will be provided closer to event day as well as start times for age groups.

DESCRIPTION:Comebacker Academy’s Turkey Slugger Showdown\nFriday November 29th Starting at 8:00 AM CT. Blind Randomization Drawing at Approximately 8:10 AM\nWe are now switching from team sign-ups to individual sign-ups due to participants having difficulty forming teams.  We get it! It’s tough having to pick thru friends. We are making it easy! Just sign up and it will be up to the randomizer to make the teams!  Then you will still get that invite to the next birthday party!! \n  \nGet ready for an exciting baseball event at the Comebacker Academy’s Turkey Slugger Showdown! This HitTrax baseball event is open to players 12U (12 years and under before May 1st\, 2025) and 14U (14 years and under before May 1st\, 2025). Games will be played using a pitching machine set at approximately 45 mph for the 12U players and 55 mph for the 14U players\, ensuring a challenging and competitive experience for all participants. \nEvent Details: \n– **Age Groups**: \n– 12U (12 years and under before May 1st\, 2025) \n– 14U (14 years and under before May 1st\, 2025) \n– **Game Format**: \n– Team size will be determined by number of participants at each age level.  (Formats may include: H2H\, 2v2\, 3v3\, or 4v4) \n– Teams will face off against each other in pool play. \n– Each team will play 2 pool games. \n– Based on the standings from pool play\, a seeded single-elimination bracket will be set. \n– **Mercy Rules**: \n– 15 runs after three innings \n– 12 runs after four innings \n– 10 runs after five innings \n– **Starting Count**: \n– All players will start with a one ball\, one strike count. \n– **Staff Support**: \n– Comebacker Academy staff will be present to ensure that each game is played according to the rules. \n– **Note**: \n– If for any reason the HitTrax units do not register a swing or a play\, it will be voided and replayed.  All players must have signed the Comebacker Academy Wavier form to participate. \n– **Prizes**: \n– The winners in each age bracket will be crowned with championship rings. \n  \nDon’t miss this opportunity to showcase your skills and compete for glory at the Turkey Slugger Showdown.
