Get ready for an exciting baseball event at the Comebacker Academy’s Turkey Slugger Showdown! This HitTrax baseball event is open to players 12U (12 years of age and under) and 14U (14 years of age and under). Games will be played using a pitching machine set at approximately 45 mph for the 12U players and 52 mph for the 14U players, ensuring a challenging and competitive experience for all participants.

Event Details:

– **Age Groups**:

– 12U (12 years and under)

– 14U (14 years and under)

– **Game Format**:

– Each team will have 3 members.

– Teams will face off against each other in pool play.

– Each team will play 2 pool games.

– Based on the standings from pool play, a seeded single-elimination bracket will be set.

– **Mercy Rules**:

– 15 runs after three innings

– 12 runs after four innings

– 10 runs after five innings

– **Starting Count**:

– All players will start with a one ball, one strike count.

– **Staff Support**:

– Comebacker Academy staff will be present to ensure that each game is played according to the rules.

– **Note**:

– If for any reason the HitTrax units do not register a swing or a play, it will be voided and replayed.

– **Prizes**:

– The winners in each age bracket will be crowned with championship rings.
